A month ago I decided I needed to lose some weight gained by eating lots of pasta and cheap food during my travels. The first thing I could hink of which I had already tried once was ZUMBA- the greatest way for me to lose a few kilos, tighten up my muscles and have lots of fun while doing it.
Zumba is a mixture of fitness, movement and aerobics. It’s fairly easy or at least gets with the time, while being a great cardio exercise which will get you sweat as you never had.
It’s a great activity as you have to multi-task on many levels: you gotta move with the rhytm and follow the steps, ease your muscles as you feel you’re getting too tired and pay attention so that you don’t forget to breathe as you’ve concentrated yourself on your performance. And you are all the time present: no time to switch off and daydream.
Moreover, it is just crazily fun. Our trainer Svetla at Fit point Fitness in Sofia was very enthusiastic and contagious and always motivated us to scream, sing and trulytake the most of this 1 hour of exercise and therapy- and indeed nobody cared we didn’t know each other or anything!
